Community Marketing Coordinator.

As Community Marketing Coordinator at Wallacea Living, you will support the delivery of marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, drive local engagement and generate qualified leads for our flagship development at Wallacea Living, opening April 2026.

This is a hands-on role focused on local community engagement and partnerships, executing events, content creation, digital communications, print collateral and day to day campaign delivery. You will work closely with your marketing colleagues as well as team members from Sales, Operations, Wellbeing & Care and external partners to ensure Wallacea Living is recognised as a vibrant, welcoming and aspirational community for later life living.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Marketing & Engagement

  • Support the establishment of Wallacea Living as a trusted and well-known presence in the local community. Research and build long term relationships with local organisations, clubs, councils, cultural institutions and media
  • Help coordinate and negotiate mutually beneficial local partnerships that support awareness and lead generation.
  • Represent Wallacea Living at local events, exhibitions, talks and community forums.

Events & Experiences

  • Assist in planning and delivering market-led experiences, including open days, partnership events or panels, interactive community pop-ups, and intimate B2B networking opportunities.
  • Support event logistics, budgeting, marketing and on the day execution.
  • Track attendance, enquiries, and follow up activity in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Gather feedback and insights to help improve future events and drive successful YOY planning

Campaign & Marketing Support

  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across print, digital, social media, gifting, PR and direct mail.
  • Help manage the marketing calendar, ensure deadlines are met and aligned with Sales and Marketing
  • Assist with campaign reporting and basic performance tracking.
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure marketing activity supports lead generation targets.

Content & Communications

  • Assist in ideating, creating and coordinating customer facing content, including: eDM’s, brochures, leaflets, website updates, videos and social media posts.
  • Coordinate with designers, copywriters, photographers, and agencies to delivery high quality assets.
  • Ensure all content reflects Wallacea Living’s brand tone, values and visual identity.
  • Support PR activity by gathering content, images, and community stories.

Brand & Customer Experience

  • Ensure marketing materials, show apartments, and customer touchpoints meet brand standards.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in all community-facing interactions.
  • Support the delivery of a welcoming, premium customer experience aligned with Wallacea Living’s ethos.

Market Awareness & Insights

  • Monitor competitor and community activity, events, and local engagement initiatives.
  • Share insights with the Senior Marketing Manager to inform future campaigns and positioning.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Sales team to support enquiries and event follow up.
  • Liaise with Operations and Wellbeing & Care teams to ensure marketing accurately reflects the owner experience.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager with day-to-day marketing administration and coordination.

About You:

To be successful in this role, the Community Marketing Coordinator, will possess the following:

  • Experience strategising, negotiating, and delivering partnerships and collaborations with not-for-profits, community organisations, and brands.
  • Previous experience in a marketing, events, community engagement, or communications role.
  • Previous experience in lifestyle, hospitality, property, or purpose led brands.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident, personable, and comfortable engaging with older adult audiences.
  • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with martech tools: CRM, eDM builders, CMS, design programs is highly desirable.
  • Passion for delivering meaningful experiences and connections.
  • Strong sense of brand pride and attention to quality.
  • Enthusiastic about later-life living and redefining perceptions of retirement communities.
  • All applicants must pass background checks, including an enhanced DBS, in line with Wallacea Living’s safeguarding commitments.
