
As preparations continue ahead our opening in early 2026, we have made two further appointments in care and management team. Maggie Lopez joins the team as a Registered Care Manager and Julie Wood as the Training and Development Manager.

Maggie Lopez joins Wallacea with over two decades of dedicated experience in adult social care. Maggie began her journey with Mencap in 2005, where she spent 13 years supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. In 2018, she joined Right at Home, where she further honed her leadership and operational skills, managing home care services and ensuring compliance with CQC standards until 2025.“The vision for integrated care at Wallacea Living is exceptional; the team are creating a space where care is proactive, thoughtful, and embedded in the everyday. We’re not just offering support when people need it; we’re enabling owners to live independently, safely and with purpose” said Maggie about the appointment.As Registered Care Manager, Maggie will be responsible for overseeing daily care operations and supporting delivery of Wallacea Living’s wellbeing model at its Marylebone community. Her work ensures that care is seamlessly responsive, discreet and integrated into the owner experience.Julie Wood joins Wallacea with over 30 years of experience in health and social care, Julie has joined Wallacea Living as the Training and Development Manager. A qualified teacher with a background in nursing and care management, she will lead the company’s training strategy, covering everything from onboarding to developing bespoke programmes tailored to service needs. Her role also includes leadership coaching to drive professional development to build a skilled, motivated workforce and a culture of excellence.Commenting on the news, Julie said: “Training is about giving people the confidence and clarity to do their best work.
