WALLACEA LIVING APPOINTS GENERAL MANAGER

WALLACEA LIVING

Wallacea Living has appointed Zoltan Zolyomi as General Manager of its debut Integrated Retirement Community (IRC) in Marylebone, London, ahead of opening to homeowners early next year.

Bringing more than 15 years’ experience across retirement living and luxury hospitality, Zoltan has an exceptional understanding of how to create an enriching, high-quality integrated retirement community that balances five-star service with genuine community spirit.

Zoltan joins Wallacea Living following seven years with Audley Villages, where he held multiple General Manager roles across the South of England. His early career at luxury hotel group, The Celtic Collection, included a tenure at the renowned Celtic Manor Resort, which provided a strong foundation for five-star guest experiences, something he’s keen to embed across every aspect of life at Wallacea Living.

Commenting on his appointment, Zoltan said:

“What truly sets Wallacea Living apart is our foundation in wellness and hospitality,” said Zoltan. “We’re building more than just a place to live, we’re creating a dynamic, inclusive community that offers luxury with warmth, and independence with connection.”

In his new role, Zoltan will oversee excellence in the day-to-day operations of the Marylebone community, including managing the service and hospitality teams, leading the community’s lifestyle programming, events and neighbourhood partnerships.

Zoltan’s plans for Wallacea Living centre around a seamless, wellness-led lifestyle with five-star service woven into every detail. From a dedicated concierge team, offering everything from theatre bookings to wellbeing support, to a restaurant designed as a welcoming hub for both homeowners and the wider community, his vision is clear: to create a retirement environment that’s vibrant, modern and full of heart.

“The team will be the heartbeat of Wallacea Living. They will be skilled and caring, and fun to be around. Together, we’ll create an environment where owners, colleagues and the wider community can all thrive. At the heart of everything is one guiding ambition: to ensure our owners truly live life to the fullest.”

As part of Wallacea’s lifestyle offering, homeowners will benefit from a curated programme of events and classes, including yoga, Pilates, mobility sessions, and a state-of-the-art age-friendly gym. Further partnerships with private GPs, wellness practitioners and local cultural organisations will ensure that physical, emotional and social wellbeing are at the heart of everyday life for the owners.

One of Zoltan’s standout ambitions is to integrate Wallacea Living into the fabric of the local area. The on-site restaurant will be open to the public, offering seasonal menus inspired by British produce, alongside themed dinners, brunches, afternoon teas and cultural celebrations aligned with the London calendar. The venue will serve as a social anchor for intergenerational events and neighbourhood collaboration.

“The restaurant will be a place to connect - not just to eat,” Zoltan added. “It reflects our belief that later life should be full of meaningful experiences, special moments that are shared and everyday interactions that are vibrant.”

Owners will also benefit from transport services, including a local shuttle and chauffeur access, and will have the opportunity to celebrate life’s milestones with new friends and family in elegant on-site spaces, such as the private cinema, multi-function space and library bar.

“There’s something truly special about building a brand-new community from the ground up,” said Zoltan. “This is a once-in-a-career opportunity, and I’m thrilled to be part of shaping something so innovative for retirement living in London.”
